GHS in Mexico has been available since 2011 with regulation NMX-R-019-SCFI-2011. The publication of NOM-018-STPS-2015 offered an updated alignment with the purple book and a three-year transition period. The end of this transition period was October 9, 2018.

Two months after NOM-018-STPS-2015 entered into force, this webinar will provide an overview of the implementation of GHS in Mexico according to regulation NOM-018-STPS-2015 and address frequently asked questions on standard industry practices.

Diana A. Saucedo Uribe is a Chemist and Regulatory Analyst for North America at Lisam Systems. In her role, Ms. Saucedo specializes on the GHS implementation for Canada, USA and Mexico. Among other duties, she provides guidance and training on SDS authoring using automated software to companies from different industry backgrounds.

Ms. Saucedo has partaken as a speaker in several events designed to achieve a timely implementation of GHS in Mexico.
