Workshop Description and Objectives
This workshop is designed to advance the development and application of Hazard Communication leadership skills. Team leaders are frequently tasked with assessing problems and opportunities, defining needs, and planning and implementing solutions. Leaders are also often called upon to coach and mentor team members. This workshop will focus on effective meetings, project planning and management, coaching and mentoring, and self-assessment. Good leaders are always in demand and this workshop through lecture, discussion and interactive exercises will help provide participants with the skills critical to optimizing their leadership effectiveness – specifically in Hazard Communication, but also in the broader context of Product Stewardship.
This is an advanced workshop. While there are no formal prerequisites for this workshop, it is recommended that participants have participated in the SCHC Leadership and Teamwork for Hazard Communication seminar or be familiar with the basic principles of leadership theory.

Hazard communication professionals looking to strengthen their leadership, teamwork and organizational alignment skills.
